TOYO INK EUROPE is the most innovative printing ink manufacturing company from Belgium, the heartland of Europe. TOYO INK Europe is a wholly owned subsidiary of TOYO INK GROUP, one of the largest and undisputed leaders in the Printing Ink and Specialty Chemicals business in the world.

The Challenge

Toyo Ink Europe has recently implemented SAP as new ERP system in 5 countries. For this purpose, a lot of master data (customers, vendors, products, formulations, prices, etc) needed to be migrated from the various legacy databases in a short period of time. Moreover, a specific challenge was related to the automatic printing of labels on the production line, which required the integration of SAP with several other applications for scanning and label printing.

The Solution

Robonext has implemented an RPA solution that allows to automate an integrated workflow starting with a scanned barcode, fetching the relevant data in SAP and creating and printing the labels at the production line. Moreover, robonext has assisted Toyo Ink Europe with the entire data migration project, by building RPA robots that allow to fetch, cleanse and transform master data for various objects.
